Youth Hunter Safety and Education

Youth Hunter Safety and Education

While we all like to have fun in the field and chase pheasants for miles, safety is one of the most important aspects. We promote and encourage hunter safety in the field. Through these classes and education we show both youth and adults the proper ways to hold, maneuver and proper gun care. Getting those who are not familiar with a gun, comfortable with handling their firearm so that they can enjoy their hunts successfully. For more information when or where our hunting safety classes can be found, please follow the links below.

No Child Left Indoors - Legislative Action Fund Donation

No Child Left Indoors - Legislative Action Fund Donation

From generous donations and fundraising, we were able to donate $1,000 to Pheasants Forever's No Child Left Indoors initiative in 2019. This donation will be used to support efforts to get young people outdoors, introduce them to the hunting heritage we all cherish, and create a generation of conservation-minded citizens.

Through the No Child Left Indoors initiative, chapters and partners provide opportunities for youth and their families to enjoy the outdoors through mentor hunts, shooting events, pollinator habitat projects, field days, camps and other activities. We believe that to create tomorrow's leaders, we need to involve them today.
